Fathimathuz Zahra Muslim Ladies Arabic College

  • Fathimathuz Zahra Muslim Ladies Arabic College is one of only 15 Ladies Madrassas currently operating in Sri-Lanka compared to 200 boy's Madrassas.
  • Established in 2003, the Madrassa has grown from only 25 students in 2004 to over 200 students today who come from various parts of the Island, alhamdulillah.
  • At present the college offers a comprehensive 4 year course in Sharia education in 4 main languages including Tamil, Sinhalese, English and Urdu as well as courses in Home Science, Sewing and Cooking
  • We receive over 100+ applications per year but unfortunately are unable to accommodate demand due to constraints of limited space and lack of funding
  • Inshallah with your help we hope to raise enough funds to expand the current facilities as well as increase the number of students that we can accommodate inshallah

Current Obligations:

  • Monthly Expenses per student LKR 8500/-, for most students this is subsidized to 3500/-, primarily through donations from well-wishers.
